Armyverse Wiki was just added to the Fandom App this morning, so you can now find us through the app and on FanCentral!
Just Updated
Zack Snyder met with The Nerd Queens earlier today to stream a conversation about the upcoming screening event of his DC movies. The Armyverse was touched on, noting:
Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas went off the rails and, for technical reasons, was delayed.
The Armyverse is alive and well, but due to the time commitment of the Rebel Moon franchise, it's not in full swing at the moment.
Here's the full video, timestamped for the Armyverse: https://www.youtube.com/live/mzKY20dly6c?feature=share&t=3926
The Hollywood Reporter just revealed that Will Ferrell will be driving a Sierra EV through the zombie hordes of the Armyverse in a new General Motors partnership with Netflix. Army of the Dead was only briefly mentioned, so here's the full relevant quote from the article:
"Will Ferrell joining Squid Game? A electric luxury car in the universe of Bridgerton? Escaping a zombie horde from Army of the Dead in an EV pickup truck? . . . the spot will see Ferrell dropped into a number of Netflix originals, with a GM EV at his disposal in each (a Cadillac Lyriq in Bridgerton, a Chevy Blazer EV in Squid Game, and a Sierra EV in Army of the Dead)."
I filed an SEO (search engine optimization) ticket with Fandom to consider the value of split-merging the cast and crew pages from this and the other wikis based on Zack Snyder's original IP projects into the Zack Snyder wiki.
These five wikis (Sucker Punch, Armyverse, Twilight of the Gods, Rebel Moon, and Zack Snyder) are all currently competing with each other due to multiple cast and crew pages existing on multiple wikis (some existing on all). This is splitting editing attention resulting in lower-quality pages on average, and multiple pages with the same name drag each other down in SEO value.
Twilight of the Gods has already gone through the complete split-merge process. The result is:
The page count drops. This has a positive long-term effect on SEO when they're short pages as cast/crew pages are.
The average page quality rises due to the removed pages being the weaker ones, while the removed pages will (slowly) rise in quality due to the fact that there are no longer duplicates splitting the edits.
The edits that have already been made will be preserved on the Zack Snyder wiki, while the final page will be adjusted to fit the page layouts of that wiki.
All links to these pages will be converted to interwiki links, while the resulting pages on the ZS wiki will also link back to this wiki. This also raises the SEO value of both wikis as the Google algorithms can see how these two sites are providing relevant external information.
Due to the long-term SEO value, I expect the Fandom team will support this concept, and since I'm usually the only active editor here, I'm expecting no one will have an issue with me setting this up in the near future.
I've finally added the 20th and final character to my Armyverse 3D series. I use the term "final" lightly because I only ever planned to do 20, however that doesn't take future releases into account. I also haven't ruled out modeling a few other characters such as interesting zombies.
I've been considering the merits of discarding articles based on production companies. They're low-value pages in general, as almost all viewers who come to a wiki about a fictional world are interested specifically in the pages about the fictional world with the occasional lead actor thrown in, not so much about the specifics of production.
These topics are also covered or will be covered on The Stone Quarry Wiki, which is about the production rather than the fictional worlds. On the occasion that there's a need to link to a production company, it might as well link out to The Stone Quarry Wiki. The articles on The Stone Quarry Wiki will cover more properties, making them more informative, and with back-and-forth interwiki linking, both wikis are advantaged in search engines.
According to a recent tweet by showrunner Jay Oliva, he won't be allowed to post more information about Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas until a few months before release. This means the release is currently more than a few months away, as he's currently in the state of being unable to post.
He might be overestimating Netflix's marketing durations, but he's worked with them before, so perhaps this means Lost Vegas won't be out until next year. This and Oliva's other current project, Twilight of the Gods, are both scheduled for 2022 at the moment, so we'll probably find out if that's changed for sure at Tudum in a few weeks.
I'm getting close to the end of my Army of the Dead series. Wildfire was an essential character for obvious reasons, even if he's a minor one.
The Armyverse section is right near the bottom of the article here. Nathalie talks about her projects, including working on Army of Thieves. She mentions "hearing whispers" about the future of Gwen and Dieter, but nothing concrete at the moment.
Here's my 3D model of Mikey Guzman from Army of the Dead!

There's a new set of articles for character skills, which are linked within each character's "Abilities" section. All major skills that are relevant to the plot or are used professionally by at least one major character are included. Take a gander! They're probably the roughest pages right now, and some of them could definitely use some image replacements.
The makeup team behind Army of the Dead has just been nominated for a Saturn Award! The zombie makeup is pretty impressive, so they have a shot, but we'll have to see what happens when the winners are announced on October 25.
Do you think the animated series of Army of the Dead will be any good? I'm hoping so.
This is more directly related to Rebel Moon than the Armyverse. Still, it does show the care put into Zack's upcoming projects and indicates indirectly that Planet of the Dead will likely receive as much or more tie-in attention as Army of the Dead did.
The article below points out that Rebel Moon is getting the Army of the Dead tie-in treatment, with real-world experiences and merchandise being considered by the Snyders and Netflix's team. Army of the Dead already had quite a bit of tie-in material, including two short films, a documentary, a documentary series, a making-of book, a promotional game, a music video, a WrestleMania crossover, an upcoming board game, and of course the VR experience, Viva Las Vengeance.
I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with for Planet of the Dead in a few years!
I posted my full set of characters a couple weeks ago, but I still haven't added Gwen into it yet.
The wiki now features some Armyverse quizzes for logged-out users! The Army of the Dead article features a quiz about character quotes from the film, the Army of Thieves character pages feature a quiz about quotes from Army of Thieves, and Ludwig Dieter has a quiz all about him on his page.
The quizzes will show up directly under the table of contents on these pages, and remember: this is a logged-out exclusive due to the nature of experiences catered to logged-in vs logged-out users. If you're logged in the display is a bit different to focus on your ability to edit, so the quizzes won't show up.
I've also had this on my profile for a while, but I thought I'd encourage fan art posts here. I've been modeling the characters of the Armyverse in 3D here and there for a while now, and just recently finished my 14th character, Gwen. She's not in this collage at the moment, but I update it with new characters every once in a while.
Edit: Adding image, since the link didn't populate one.
