"Don’t get me wrong, but lest we forget, there’s a zombie apocalypse happening in the world right now, so why are we spending time on this and not on. . . Well, you know, matters related to the zombie--"

Beatrix was an Interpol agent working with Vincent Delacroix. She was portrayed by Noémie Nakai in Army of Thieves.

Biography[]

Interpol investigates the Rheingold

Delacroix's Rheingold heist presentation to his team

Beatrix worked as an agent for Interpol, partnered with Vincent Delacroix. Shortly after Las Vegas was struck with a zombie plague, Gwendoline's heist crew robbed the Rheingold safe kept at Premiere Credit des Batignolles in Paris. While Beatrix was more interested in jobs related to the zombie apocalypse, Delacroix was focused on catching Brad and Gwen. He found them on camera leaving the scene, and knew that they'd likely continue their heists from the Rheingold to the other Ring Cycle safes designed by Hans Wagner. Their next target would be the Valkyrie. Bly Tanaka was having the Ring Cycle safes moved to Geneva, so Delacroix knew they'd have to act fast. The Valkyrie heist had to be the next day.

Interpol storms NPIB

Delacroix leads his team into NPIB Prague

Interpol waited at the NPIB Prague branch that housed the Valkyrie, but Delacroix got anxious and the team entered the branch, believing the heist team must already be inside. As it turned out, the bank had traded their safe to a more prestigious NPIB Prague. They rushed to the larger branch, but were too late. Local police gave chase, but everyone escaped. Delacroix took his team to the final location, Bly's Casino in St. Moritz. They managed to tune into Gwen's radio signals and learned that they planned to go for the Siegfried during the shift change at the Bly at 5:00 A.M. Beatrix suggested working with the casino, but Delacroix pointed out that if the casino got spooked and moved the time of the transfer, Gwen would lose her reason to put herself in Interpol's path, so he refused.

Korina caught

Beatrix questions Korina Dominguez

The time came, and Interpol entered the casino, only to find that Gwen's team had alerted the casino of the threat themselves, and the casino had indeed moved up the time of transfer. The news hit Delacroix hard, but they went back outside and caught Korina out on the street. Beatrix convinced her to sell out Gwen and Sebastian, and they headed toward the location of Gwen's exit strategy. Along the way they found Brad Cage and Rolph tethered to the Siegfried's truck on the side of the road and they arrested them. While Beatrix and the rest of the team took care of that, Delacroix hurried ahead to cut off Gwen.[1]

Abilities[]

  • Detection: Working as Vincent Delacroix's partner, Beatrix was a highly skilled agent working for Interpol. She was very skilled and knowledgeable in the art of catching international criminals. Working with her team, she was able to catch Brad Cage, Gwendoline Starr, Korina Dominguez, and Rolph, who were some of Interpol's most wanted criminals. Her efforts directly resulted in Gwendoline's capture, in particular.
  • Leadership: As Delacroix's second-in-command, Beatrix was effective at opening up her partner's narrow plans and making up for his shortcomings, such as his borderline unprofessional aggression toward his targets.
  • Social manipulation: Using Korina's brother against her, Beatrix was able to manipulate Korina into giving up Gwen's escape plan, despite Korina's respect and appreciation for Gwen.
  • Multilingualism: Beatrix spoke fluent French and English.

Equipment[]

  • Glock: Beatrix carried an Interpol-issued pistol during her duties as an agent.
