Geeta was a mother and a refugee of the zombie outbreak in Las Vegas who went missing in the city. She was portrayed by Huma Qureshi in Army of the Dead and didn't survive the movie.

Biography

Geeta argues with Kate Ward

Geeta lived as a refugee in McCarran Quarantine Camp with her two children until deciding that she needed to venture into zombie-controlled Las Vegas to crack a slot machine in order to pay her family's way out of the camp. She enlisted the help of the Coyote, Lilly, and entered the city with Daisy and another McCarran Quarantine Camp resident.

Zeus corners Geeta and company

She was captured by the alpha zombies residing within and was held captive in a room of The Olympus until Zeus was ready to convert her into another alpha. She was rescued by Kate Ward before this could happen, and was able to leave the city. Her helicopter crashed, throwing her through the canopy and crushing her in the collapsed hull. Before dying, Scott provided Kate with enough money to get Geeta's children out of the refugee camp.

Trivia

• Geeta wears Indian marriage beads around her neck, signifying her own marriage. Huma Qureshi, to define her role as Geeta for herself, imagined that Geeta had a husband, but was at some point forced to choose between her husband and her children, and so gave up on her husband to save her children.
