Guzman of the Dead 420 was a YouTube channel run by Mikey Guzman. On it, he and his friends tracked down zombies, which they tried to kill in entertaining ways for their audience. They also took any valuables they found from the bodies. Maria Cruz used the channel to recruit Guzman early in Army of the Dead and more videos from the channel were released as a special featurette, Exclusive videos from Guzman of the Dead 420.

History[]

At some point after the Las Vegas outbreak, Mikey Guzman created a YouTube channel dedicated to killing zombies. He and his friends, especially Carlos ("C-Lo") would drive around Las Vegas searching for shamblers. They would attempt to kill them in interesting ways for the sake of entertaining their audience.

One video featured bouncing a car wheel on a zombie's head using Guzman's hydraulics system. Another took place in a baseball park, where Guzman took down a shambler by shooting it in the head with a batting machine while C-Lo took out two more with a baseball bat.

A third video featured Guzman and C-Lo searching an apparently empty street for zombies until finding one. Guzman's goal was to destroy a zombie with a single punch with his brass knuckles. He grappled with the zombie before delivering the fatal blow, nearly taking a bite. The channel was approaching one million subscribers at this point.

A fourth video, which was later viewed by Scott Ward and Maria Cruz, involved a narrow street with seven shamblers slowly approaching. Guzman decided he'd take out all seven with three bullets, and carefully showed the camera his magazine. He lined up his shots, killing two zombies with the first shot, two with the second, and three with the third.[1]
