Gwendoline's Safe & Lock Co. was a company that produced, sold, repaired, and/or opened safes and locks located in Barstow or San Bernardino, California. The shop was owned and operated by Ludwig Dieter.[1] Gwendoline's made appearances in Army of the Dead and Army of Thieves, in both cases representing Dieter's place of work at the time the Götterdämmerung heist was being put together.
History[]
Using money he had extracted from the Siegfried, Ludwig Dieter established Gwendoline's Safe & Lock Co. to spend his days waiting for Gwendoline Starr's release from prison. He set it up in Victor Valley, not far from Las Vegas where the Götterdämmerung that he and Gwen sought was rumored to be located.[2]

Scott Ward and Maria Cruz arrive to recruit Ludwig Dieter
When seeking a safecracker for the Götterdämmerung heist, Maria Cruz led Scott Ward to Gwendoline's, where they found Dieter. They spoke with him about their mission to crack the Götterdämmerung, which happened to be Dieter's dream, and so he happily joined them.[3]
