For the more prestigious branch, see NPIB Prague.

NPIB Prague was the smaller branch of the bank of the same name. It once held the Valkyrie safe, but traded it to its more prestigious counterpart before the events of Army of Thieves.

Interpol storms NPIB

Interpol arrives to prevent the Rheingold heist

When Vincent Delacroix of Interpol found that the Rheingold had been cracked, he looked into the event and found footage of his nemeses, Gwendoline Starr and Brad Cage. Considering the Rheingold was the first of four safes, three of which had known locations in Europe, Delacroix surmised that the group would go after the next two before they were scheduled to be sent to Geneva in a few days' time. He led his team to scope out the NPIB Prague branch that he believed housed the Valkyrie, which was the second safe. They waited for the robbers to arrive, but nothing happened. Delacroix figured they must already be inside, and so they stormed the vault, only to find that the Valkyrie had been traded to a larger branch. They rushed from the building and headed to the Valkyrie, hoping they wouldn't be too late.[1]

Trivia[]

  • While the larger branch features lion statues at the doors, this branch instead has wingless sphinx statues.
  • Gallerie Rudolfinum in Prague was used as the exterior for the NPIB building. The eastward face was used to represent the main branch, while the smaller branch used the west-facing side of the building.
